Irish traditional music has been a central part of life in this area of Clare for many years. Doolin has become known as the traditional music capital of Ireland. There is a vibrant music scene throughout the year, with music in all three pubs in Doolin every night of the Summer and every weekend in Winter.   |
 The Russell Memorial Weekend The Russell Memorial Weekend takes place annually in Doolin on the last weekend in February. This is a three day event of traditional music, song dance and music workshops in memory of a great local flute & whistle player. Find out more about it at www.michorussellweekend.ie |

For guests who wish, they are invited to join me in one of the venues where I may be playing music in the Summer. Also if you should be staying at Craggy Island in the Winter and you would like some music you are welcome to join me for an impromptu session in one of the pubs. |
