The majestic Cliffs of Moher, which tower 700 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, are visible from the house, as are the Aran Islands and the rolling hills of Clare. Enjoy the sea views while eating a delicious breakfast made from the finest fresh local produce. There is a wide range of breakfast options available, including vegetarian, all cooked to order.

Doolin is famous for its traditional music and all the pubs in Doolin have music every night in the summer months and every weekend in the winter. There are several award winning restaurants in Doolin and Lisdoonvarna. The area in and around Doolin has much to offer, including the spectacular Burren, famous for its geology, plants and archaeological remains.

There are also the Cliffs of Moher, Ferries to the Aran Islands, horse riding, golf, walking, cycling, fishing, sandy beaches, surfing and Doolin cave with its spectacular free hanging stalactite - the largest in Europe.

For those of you who enjoy walking, Craggy Island B&B is on the Burren Way walking route, which starts by the Cliffs of Moher and passes through Doolin and on to the picturesque village of Ballyvaughan.

There are also several shorter walks from the house and it is an ideal place to cycle from, as there are lots of very quiet country lanes in the immediate vicinity all with lovely views.
